Briefing

As part of an internal communication initiative, “Le TEC” (the public agency that manages and operates public transportation in the Walloon Region) is launching “TEC Buddy”. This “Buddy” will serve as a logo/mascot to guide new employees through training, on-the-job learning, and other activities.

They need a logo proposal, and it should be animated.

Idea 1

Logo designed in accordance with TEC’s brand guidelines. A playful typographic touch on the word “buddies.”
Strengths: Easily recognizable by TEC employees thanks to the continued use of the brand standards.

Idea 2

“Buddy” mascot; represents the TEC “buddy,” who is always there whenever a TEC member needs him.
(A little reference to Fallout's “Vault Boy” for those who knows)
Strengths: Human representation of the app; makes it more user-friendly. Can also be reused in other communications, such as a security/support “badge”. I also find the vintage look&feel trendy and friendly in a day-to-day use.
